After having enjoyed the 2X11 RPOL for a few weeks, it became very clear that the current structure could easily take on more weight... As a first and easy move, I decided to "retrofit" a 12th element which required a minimum amount of effort. The end result is an extra ~0.5 dB of forward gain and a lower antenna temperature. The 2X12 RPOL has now reached a total forward gain of 18 dBi !
